The professionalism, experience and expertise of Ubong Ekanem- The Uyo City Award progenitor and Uyo Model Search organizer has been consulted to recruit 25 damsels to make up the Orange Carnival 25 Maidens Band. All girls 5 feet 11 inches tall and above are to contact him for auditions. All Uyo Model Search finalists will be granted automatic entry in the band.

Ubong Ekanem made a memorable impact and outing recently when he showcased 15 of Akwa Ibom's finest fashion designers and 15 super models at Le Meridien Ibom Golf Resort for  Uyo Model Search .
