The professionalism, experience and expertise of Ubong Ekanem- The Uyo City Award progenitor and Uyo Model Search organizer has been consulted to recruit 25 damsels to make up the Orange Carnival 25 Maidens Band. All girls 5 feet 11 inches tall and above are to contact him for auditions. All Uyo Model Search finalists will be granted automatic entry in the band.

Usem Akwa Ibom made debut last year, and must have been seen by many as just a thing of fun where people take to social networking sites to test their knowledge of their language. But far from that, this is an online campaign that creates awareness about different ethnic dialects that exist in Akwa Ibom State, and encourages the use of the languages, especially on Sunday 23rd September.

Garneti Exhibit is announced to partner with Sombodi clothing and the organizers of Orange Carnival 2012 to design costumes for bands to participate in the annual Orange Carnival.

This was confirmed in a release made available to journalist by Nelson NseAbasi, the progenitor of the event.

The 2012 edition, is the 3^rd edition of the epoch making event, Orange Carnival was inspired by the need to unite the good people of Akwa bom state, to show the world how peaceful and loving we are, every September 23^rd the day the state was created 25 years ago.
